COMMONWEALTH OF LOVE
Certain things in life are beyond our reach. In which, choices are very limited. For example, can we choose our parents? Can we choose our death? The nature around us, the earth below our feet, and even the sky above are factors which are mostly given, and beyond our reach. It does not mean that man is a helpless tool in the hands of fate. There is still a vast realm left where you have the mastery. Man is often said to be the master of his own destiny. In fact, destiny is nothing but a sum total of our own deeds in past incarnations. Our actions have a tendency: they don’t die. Our inactions have a tendency, they follow us through the ages. That is why, in this world, two and two are never always four. Physics and chemistry no double are the basic sciences, but more basic than these sciences are the WORKINGS OF HUMAN DESTINY. Nothing goes amiss. Nothing goes unnoticed. Nothing remains unrecorded. Nothing is minor. Nothing is big. Mistakes are punished. Good deeds lauded. ONLY IN TIME. ONLY AT THE PROPER TIME. Good deeds build around you a store of goodness, goodwill, help, joy and festivity while evil and bad deeds surround you with enmity, hatred, jealously, burning, and self-immolation.
WHAT SHOULD BE OUR WAY OF LIVING:
One word answer to this question is LOVING. The whole life span is there in which we have to enact our own destiny. We have to write it with our hands. Think it with our minds. See it with our eyes. God is benign enough not to interfere in man’s choices. We blame HIM only when things go amiss. Otherwise, we and our proud self are the makers of the universe. We are responsible for what is happening to us. And it depends on what we make happen to others on our account. HERE IS OUR CHOICE. If we want that we should be treated kindly, loved, liked, helped and admired by others, WE MUST GENERATE a loving atmosphere, WE MUST have helping colleagues. Wherever we life, we have to have people who feel for us. Who love us. Who admire us. Who consider us good. THAT IS THE BEST AND THE MOST EXALTED FEELING. To be admired in society, to be loved. To be appreciated. By the family, the society and the world at large. FOR THIS TO COME TRUE, we need to KILL, HATE, FIGHT, DESTROY AND CAUSE HAVOC IN SOCIETY. WE must TURN THE LOVE LEAF. THERE ARE OTHER BETTER WAYS TO LEAD THIS LIFE.
LET US COME TO REALISE THAT man loves all those things which support him. He loves his parents. He loves his brothers and sisters. He loves his home too. But then he easily forgets that he gets his parents from the family unit, from the society around. The society is sustained by the animals the birds and the trees which are growing on the periphery of the village. Even in a city, a family unit is supported by a thousand services provided by other men. WHY WE DON’T REALISE that OUR LIFE DEPENDS ON SO MANY THINGS, SO MANY PEOPLE, SO MANY ELEMENTS OF NATURE.
And the natural corollary is that WE MUST LOVE THEM. We must respect them. We must show love for them.It requires a helping loving, accommodating, accepting, harmonious attitude towards everyone.
Let us prove that we are indispensable to everybody who comes into contact with us.
Let us treat everybody with love and care.
Let us realise that love begets love.
Let us finally accept that love is the universal language which is spoken even among animals, birds, beasts and nature.
Let us also realise that human lifeis not conceived in isolation, a mother, a father and family unit – all are conceived in a multiple varity and here only love can work.
In this world, the only magic that works wonders is love.
Love is a greater motive force than hatred.
We would have been better placed if there had been sanity in our forefathers.
No Duryodhana. No Mahabharta.
The people who pushed the world to the walls and forced wars upon people were made. Insane. Possessed. Who destroyed themselves and so many along with them.
When we say, there should be no nuclear arms, no wars, we are thinking in a particular way, we are taught to look at things.
We accept the presence. And then we want to close our eyes on it.
Let us plant the seeds of love. Let us change the human perceptions. Let us come to the conclusion that life is a small space. The world is a small spec.
Let there be no bloodshed. Let there be no hatreds. Be no divisions. Let there be no wars. Let there be only love, understanding, acceptance, accommodation, harmony and peace and prosperity. To one and all, big and small of this earth, to the animal and the bird, to the vegetation of the world, let us wish a happy happy stay – a living together of all the forms of life.
